Dimanche 13 Janvier

Ce matin, nous avons chanté à la cathédrale. C'était une expérience intéressante et bizarre... La plupart des gens dans la congrégation ont aimé cependant. Les chansons étaient « Arise O God and Shine » et « Joy to the World. » Pour la deuxième chanson, l'organiste de l'église nous a accompagné. Les gens étaient assez gentils.

Après l'Eglise, nous avons fait une petite sieste et puis nous avons visité le Musée Départemental Breton. Le musée est à côté de la cathédrale au centre-ville. Au musée, nous avons vu les vieilles choses culturelles de Bretagne. Plusieurs expositions avaient des statues, des vitraux, des meubles et de la faïencerie bretonne.

Nous avons passé le reste de la journée en « temps libre ». Tous les magasins étaient fermés donc personne n'a fait du shopping. Quelques personnes ont visité un autre musée, quelques autres sont allés au cinéma (nous avons vu « Le Renard et L'Enfant »... pas mal!) et les autres sont restés à l'hôtel.

This morning we sang at the cathedral for church as a small ensemble. It was an interesting experience. Most of the people liked that we participated in church. The songs we sang were « Arise o God and Shine » and « Joy to the World. » For « Joy to the World » we had an organist accompany us. The congregation was very nice.

After church, we had a short nap and we visited the Departemantl Museum of Brittany. The museum is next to the cathedral in the center of the town. At the museum we saw many old things that displayed the culture of Brittany. Many exhibits had statues, stain-glass windows, traditional furniture, and things made by the faïencerie of Brittany. It was very interesting. We spent the rest of the day with free time. All of the stores are closed on Sundays, so no one went shopping – but some people went to another museum, others went to a movie (see « The Fox and the Child » - French film) and others stayed at the hotel.
