Nous ne pouvons pas croire que c'est déjà notre dernier jour en France. Le temps a passé très vite! Ce matin, nous avons eu du temps libre. Un groupe d'étudiants est allé visiter le musée d'Orsay qui se spécialise dans les oeuvres impressionistes. Un autre groupe a visité le Cimetière du Père-Lachaise où il a beaucoup de personnes fameuses qui sont enterrées là. Finalement, un autre groupe a fait du shopping. Ensuite, le groupe s'est réuni à l'hôtel pour aller visiter le Louvre. Nous avons eu une visite guidée avec une femme qui travaille au musée. Le Louvre est très très grand alors nous n'avons pas eu la chance de voir toutes les choses. Mais, nous avons vu La Joconde (the Mona Lisa), La Vénus de Milo et plusieurs autres oeuvres célèbres. Après la visite du Musée du Louvre, un groupe différent d'étudiants a visité le musée d'Orsay et d'autres sont retournés à l'hôtel pour se préparer pour l'opéra le soir. Nous avons eu la chance de voir Véronique, un opéra-comique au Théâtre du Châtelet. Après la représentation, nous avons rencontré la mezzo-soprano, Doris Lamprecht. Mais nous n'avons pas pu rester trop tard car nous partons tôt demain!
We can't believe that it's our last day in France already. Time has passed very quickly. This morning, we had free time. One group of students visited the Musée D'Orsay which specializes in Impressionist work. Another group visited the cemetary Père Lachaise where there's lot of famous people buried. Next, the group reunited at the hotel to go together to visit the Louvre. We had a guided visit with a woman who works at the museum. The Louvre is very very big so we didn't have the chance to see many things. But we saw the Mona Lisa, the Venus de Milo and several other famous works. After the visit to the Louvre, a different group of students visited the Musée d'Orsay and the others returned to the hotel to prepare for the opera that evening. But we couldn't stay very long because we're living for the airport at 9.00 am tomorrow.
