A sept heures du matin, nous sommes partis pour la ville de Bayonne, qui se trouve sur la Côte Basque près de la frontière espagnole. Tout le monde était fatigué, néanmoins, nous étions contents de trouver une autre ville pour ajouter à notre collection. Pendant la route, nous avons roulé à travers Nantes et Bordeaux. A Nantes, le car est monté sur un grand point. La vue était magnifique mais les sandwiches dans les stations services étaient moins magnifiques, évidemment. Après notre arrivée, certains ont fait la sieste et puis nous sommes partis au restaurant Le Victor Hugo pour célébrer le vingtième anniversaire de notre copine Sarah B. Pete a mangé un lapin (entier!) et Christina a mangé un bon canard aussi. Après le repas, nous avons chanté "Joyeux Anniversaire" deux fois - en français et anglais. Enfin, nous sommes rentrés à la Maison Diocésaine pour bien dormir.
At seven this morning, we left for Bayonne, which is in the Basque country, near Spain. All of us were very tired, nonetheless, we were happy to go to another city for our collection of cities in France. On the way, we drove through Nantes and Bordeaux. In Nantes, the bus went up on a big bridge, and the view was magnificent, but the sandwiches in the gas station at the next stop were not sot magnificent - evidently. After that, we arrived & we took naps and/or changed for dinner. Then, we left for the restaurant, Victor Hugo, the celebrate the 20th birthday for our friend Sarah B.. Pete ate rabbit (all of it!) and Christina ate a good duck also. After the meal, we sang "Happy Birthday" to Sarah (two times, once in French and once in English). Finally, we returned to the Maison Diocese to go to sleep.
